How much does a bathroom remodel cost in Charleston?
It depends on the size of the room and how far the work goes — a vanity and fresh tile is a different job from moving plumbing and building a custom walk-in shower. We don't publish a range, because a number quoted before seeing the bathroom is a guess. What we do instead: we come out, look at the space, talk through what you want, and give you a written estimate with the line items spelled out. The visit and the estimate are free.
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
It varies with scope. Swapping surfaces in an existing layout moves faster than a remodel that changes where the plumbing runs, and tile and paint both need time to cure between stages. You get a realistic schedule with your written estimate, and we keep you updated as the work moves rather than leaving you guessing.
Can you convert a tub into a walk-in shower?
Yes. Tub-to-shower conversion is one of the jobs we're asked for most. The tub comes out, the base is rebuilt and waterproofed, and the new shower is tiled from the pan up. We'll tell you at the consultation what the existing plumbing and framing allow.
Do you handle the plumbing and electrical too?
Yes. Along with the tile and the surfaces we take on the finishing trades that go with a bathroom — trim, drywall, paint, plumbing and electrical — so you aren't the one coordinating four different trades around one small room.
Do you take on small bathrooms, or only full remodels?
Both. You can hire us for a full remodel or for a single piece of it — a shower, a floor, a vanity. Powder rooms and small hall baths are a normal part of the work.
